M D Sharma Award ( Mathura Dass Sharma Award) was announced last year when Shri M D Sharma passed away in Toronto after suddenly falling sick.

Shri M D Sharma has dedicated his life to service the community in India and in Toronto ( Canada). The Community people proposed to start an award after Sh.M D Sharma's name to keep his name and work known to the future generations and to encourage the people to help others without holding any special position.

As Shri MD Sharma use to sing Bollywood songs and Bhajan's for Toronto people. There will be a special awards introduced for those talented individuals shortly. An additional award will be given out to an individual who sings well and a child who dances well. more....
